New Audio CD: Ambassadors of the Hidden Moon: COMING SOON

Through hard work and determination, I am coming closer to the completion of my newest project, "Ambassadors of the Hidden Moon". After more than two years of work, I have created nine original compositions. Along with these originals, I have included a few great examples of world famous music from composers such as: Charles Aznavour, Johann Sebastian Bach/Charles Gounod, and Antonio Vivaldi. Another two songs are based upon a Moldavian folk melody, and a melody written by an Armenian composer and lyricist named Givani.

"Ambassadors of the Hidden Moon" also called for the use of a new five stringed instrument, the Viola-Kyamani. This instrument is a custom one of a kind creation that was fabricated for me by the world class Luthier, Martin Yeritsyan. I have great pride in this instrument, as it is extremely unique, having the sound of neither a violin, nor viola. The Viola-Kyamani can be heard on tracks four and fourteen of this new project.

The entire collaboration of unique electronic sounds and live instruments makes the album a new experience. I have arranged the entire project myself, but I am also very proud of the musicians who have played as well. I would like to give thanks to one of the greatest bass players in the galaxy, Hovabass, whose collaboration on tracks 1, 2, 4, 6 and 9 was exquisite. I would also like to give thanks to my son Eddie, who played all percussion and drums on the project. He accomplished all of the difficult tasks that were set before him. Though the working process was difficult, it was also very fun and enjoyable.

There are many new sounds, ideas and styles included in "Ambassadors of the Hidden Moon", such as my experimentation of recording an entire violin and viola section by myself. This too was a difficult task, but I believe it will turn out to be a success. The project has many different styles for many different tastes. It was a pleasure to make and I hope my fans will enjoy hearing it as much as I enjoyed making it.
